Chapter Eighteen: Beloved Robin

Marine Headquarters, Marineford. At this moment, Fleet Admiral Sengoku was in a foul mood, watching Garp sit there munching on donuts, utterly resigned.

"Did that guy really say that the scholars of Ohara wouldn't pose a threat to the World Government?" Sengoku slumped into his chair and asked Garp with frustration.

"Yeah, that's right. He said so. If you insist on going after them, I think that kid will step in again. He must be a native of Ohara. Of course, if you give the order, whatever happens isn't our concern, haha!" Garp replied to Sengoku with a wide grin.

"Kizaru will need a few months to recover from his injuries. During that time, nobody leaves headquarters. No excursions. By the way, didn't you get a photo of that villain? Make a wanted poster—set the bounty at four hundred million Berries." After a long deliberation, Sengoku finally spoke in a measured tone.

"Ah! Not allowed to leave? Fine, get someone else for the bounty poster..."

Very soon, Kamille’s wanted poster appeared all over the world, and the four hundred million Berries bounty stunned all the notorious pirates. Even more shocking was that someone from Marine Headquarters leaked details of that epic battle, leaving pirates everywhere in disbelief.

"Father, is this kid really that strong? Even Garp and Kizaru together couldn't beat him!" The first mate of the Whitebeard Pirates held Kamille’s wanted poster, questioning Whitebeard, who sat in the seat of honor.

"Haha, that kid could take one of my blows two years ago, and now he’s grown this much stronger in just two years. Hahaha." Whitebeard simply laughed heartily in response, leaving the question unanswered.

On a pirate ship not much larger than the Merry, Shanks looked at the wanted poster in his hand, shook his head in silence, but the joy on his face was unmistakable.

Time passed swiftly—eight years went by in the blink of an eye.

On the road from Bubble Islands towards Area One, two figures could be seen. A handsome young man with violet hair, looking no older than twenty, wore a purple longsword at his waist. His hand was holding a beautiful dark-skinned woman, around the same age. They were none other than Kamille and Robin, who had emerged from the ring just days ago.

After that fateful battle and the destruction of Ohara, Kamille entered the ring and spent eighty years inside, while only eight years passed in the outside world.

Much happened during those eighty years in the ring—most notably, Robin had given herself entirely to Kamille. The two lived happily within, spending the long decades mainly in cultivation. The "Dragon Phoenix Divine Art" was a formidable technique, even containing dual cultivation methods. After eighty years, they had broken through the first layer and entered the second.

Their power could no longer be fully unleashed in this world. Both had sealed their strength, returning to about the level they were at eight years prior, though their control and skill with their abilities had become much more refined. If the battle from eight years ago were to repeat itself (with their power sealed), Kamille could easily defeat both Garp and Kizaru without sustaining serious injuries.

One detail deserves special mention—Robin eventually discovered Kamille’s true identity, and the way it happened was rather amusing.

About halfway through their time in the ring’s space, after a session of combat practice, Robin went to take a bath first. Before Kamille could do the same, Robin found a book tucked within the clothes from another spatial ring.

It was none other than the "One Piece" manga Kamille had purchased from Hongjun. After so many years, Kamille had completely forgotten about it. When taking out his clothes, he hadn’t noticed the manga sandwiched inside and had inadvertently pulled it out.

Curious, Robin flipped through a few pages, finding it quite interesting and admiring Luffy and his crew. But when she saw her own appearance in the manga, she gasped in shock, her hand covering her mouth. The further she read, the more astonished she became. By the end—especially after seeing the events at Enies Lobby—Robin was so overwhelmed that she wept uncontrollably.

For a while, things became awkward between Robin and Kamille, who had no idea what was going on.

Eventually, Robin mustered her courage, sat down beside Kamille, and took the manga from her pocket, laying it before him.

One can imagine Kamille’s complex expression.

Kamille was speechless. Seeing the teary-eyed girl in front of him, he pulled her into his arms.

"Robin, I’m sorry I never told you my origins. I truly am. You don’t hate me, do you?" Kamille asked nervously, holding Robin tightly.

Robin was silent for a long time, and just as Kamille was about to break down, she finally spoke. "Do you love me?" Her eyes locked onto Kamille, afraid he would say something else.

Upon hearing this, Kamille embraced Robin even tighter, replying with firm conviction, "Of course I love you." He said nothing more, and Robin hugged him back just as tightly.

But a few minutes later, Robin broke free from his embrace, flipped to the part of the manga where Boa Hancock appeared, and pointed to a big circle drawn around Boa’s head, with a small note beside it.

"Second Target." It was obvious what that meant.

Kamille was dumbfounded. Back when they lived in Ohara, he’d occasionally read the manga when Robin wasn’t around, reminiscing about the story. Upon reaching the part with Boa Hancock—at her most beautiful and vivid—he’d drawn a circle and written that note.

Looking at Kamille, who had been with her for decades, Robin felt a pang of jealousy but didn’t let Kamille squirm for long. She threw herself into his arms, for she knew after all these years that Kamille’s heart belonged to her and she had nothing to fear.

Relieved, Kamille told Robin everything—about his past life and how he’d come to this world.

Robin was shocked, but didn’t question it; only such an explanation made sense.

Robin was grateful to Kamille, for he had saved her mother Olvia and the people of Ohara.

She promised to keep his secret forever. As for Boa Hancock, Robin said nothing further; in the end, she supported Kamille in taking Boa Hancock as his "sister."

Having read the manga, Robin realized that if not for Kamille’s intervention, she and Boa Hancock would have shared a similar fate—both enduring childhoods shrouded in darkness.

Naturally, Kamille was overjoyed and devoted himself even more to Robin. That night, they made passionate love for a long time.

After eighty years of cultivation, their dual practice had greatly accelerated their progress, allowing them to break through the first layer together. During the breakthrough, they absorbed so much spiritual energy that the ring’s space nearly collapsed. In the end, they decided to leave.

As luck would have it, the ring was buried on a beach in the Bubble Islands. Their emergence drew no attention, and as Kamille surveyed the surroundings, he released his vastly expanded spiritual sense. To his amazement, he spotted his second target: Boa Hancock.

She was currently in a cell behind the auction house, awaiting sale with her two sisters.

Gazing at the enormous red circular auction house ahead, Robin smiled amusedly at Kamille, whose eyes were now ablaze with killing intent. She took his hand and led him inside...

Don’t be too surprised, everyone—I spent a whole day considering this chapter before deciding to write it this way. I hope you’ll support me!
