“Hurry up!” Momoshiki Otsutsuki commanded, the red Rinnegan in his palm glowing even brighter.

Obito’s body surged with the power of Kamui. His skin rapidly aged, his face wrinkled, yet his single Sharingan shone with an ever-brighter light.

He poured all his strength into Kamui, and so the spatial corridor before him grew clearer, immense gales swirling as the portal took shape.

He was on the brink of death, but his mind was calm, quietly comprehending his ocular power.

This was the technique he had failed to complete during his previous battle with Orochimaru.

“Ocular power… Sharingan… Bond…”

Obito could sense the power of his eye, could sense the bonds, but he could not affect them. He was determined to uncover the secrets of this technique.

“Chakra… Spirit…”

A person’s mind sharpens in the face of death, and so it was with Obito. He truly discovered a way to affect his ocular power and those bonds—through spiritual force.

Spiritual force was mysterious, yet not unfamiliar; every time he drew chakra, he used it.

“I will slowly infuse my spiritual force into my ocular power, thereby influencing it…”

Obito proceeded with serene composure. Externally, his body had begun to wither, vitality ebbing away.

From his feet upward, his form began to erode, scattering to the winds—yet his Sharingan burned ever brighter.

“Kaguya Otsutsuki, I am so close to capturing you!” Momoshiki watched as the spatial portal clarified, his expression growing excited.

On the moon, Orochimaru was contemplating what to erase next, when he suddenly sensed a spatial power.

He did not command space, but he recognized the sensation—Obito’s Sharingan.

With a thought, a serpent head sprouted from his neck, and in its eye was the Sharingan.

“Obito is returning,” Orochimaru mused.

The Sharingan belonged to Obito, and as Obito tried to cross into this space, Orochimaru could sense him.

He didn’t know what Obito intended, but a smile crept onto Orochimaru’s lips—he had found a new target for erasure.

“What are you smiling for? Another snake head won’t change your fate of failure,” Toneri Otsutsuki said coldly.

It was the confidence born of the Tenseigan. From ancient times, his clan had revered the Tenseigan as the ultimate eye, without equal.

“I will begin with you, erasing the Earth’s line, and rebuild peace.”

The Tenseigan Cannon had finished charging. Toneri’s gaze sharpened, his eyes glowing as the massive Tenseigan fired a yellow beam with a thunderous bang.

Orochimaru remained unfazed. His spirit clone within the Tenseigan, sharing his thoughts, seized control of the Tenseigan at the exact instant the beam fired, twisting its aim aside.

Boom!

The yellow beam shot forth—not at Orochimaru, but at a section of space on the moon.

In Momoshiki’s realm, the spatial corridor was finally stabilizing—a complete gateway had appeared.

He was thrilled; his millennia-long pursuit was about to end—he would finally seize Kaguya Otsutsuki!

Kaguya had stolen the sacred fruit his ancestors had left behind. He would kill her, reclaim the fruit, and return to his clan.

Before him, Obito’s body was almost entirely disintegrated—feet, legs, waist, ribs, chest, arms, neck, jaw, mouth, nose, forehead… all gone.

Everything had been sacrificed to power the Sharingan’s Kamui. The eye shone with a fierce, vivid red.

“Ahhhhh!” Obito’s consciousness screamed in frenzy—his body was dead, but his spirit endured. He poured all his spiritual force into the Sharingan, desperate to survive within it.

So far, he had half-succeeded.

Boom.

The spatial corridor succeeded—the gateway flung wide. Tears welled in Momoshiki’s eyes, involuntary, as the end of a thousand-year mission was finally at hand.

Their branch of the clan had not returned home in a very long time.

Kinshiki Otsutsuki grinned broadly, delighted for Momoshiki—she was his everything.

“Let’s go,” said Momoshiki, stepping through the portal, Kinshiki close behind.

But as they took their first step, a yellow beam blasted through the portal, striking them directly.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The cannon’s force was immense, sending Momoshiki and Kinshiki hurtling backward, smashing through several asteroids before finally stopping.

Obito, now a spirit inhabiting the Sharingan alone, seized the moment; as a single, disembodied eye, he passed through the spatial gateway.

And then, with Kamui’s power gone, the spatial corridor snapped shut.

“No!”

From afar, Momoshiki watched the portal close. Though wounded by the cannon, she lived, and now she screamed in fury, wild and unrestrained.

Kinshiki, sent flying as well, quickly bridged the space between them, reappearing at her side in a flash, scooping her up and leaping instantly to where the portal had vanished.

Kinshiki quietly sensed the spatial ripples, but after a moment shook his head. “Without a target, I cannot follow.”

Momoshiki’s rage erupted, volcanic, as if a cooked duck had flown from the table. In that instant, as she was thrown back, she had glimpsed two figures in the other space—an Otsutsuki descendant and a man with a cold, sinister aura.

It was them!

“Ah!” Momoshiki roared.

She would kill that Otsutsuki descendant and the cold man with her own hands.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Her fury was so great that the surrounding asteroids exploded, forming a fearsome spectacle in the void.

“The power’s not bad at all,” Orochimaru remarked.

He hadn’t seen Obito, but he had noticed Momoshiki and Kinshiki attempting to step through the portal.

That single blast had sent them flying, piercing through many asteroids—a truly fearsome display.

“What did you do?” Toneri exclaimed.

He realized the Tenseigan had been seized—another force was wrestling for control.

The struggle was fierce, and in the end, neither could command the Tenseigan.

“Invader, you will die for this!” Toneri raged.

The Tenseigan was his weakness, and anyone who dared covet it deserved death.

Within his eyes, the Tenseigan’s power remained from earlier absorption—this he could still use, and he activated it instantly.

“Tenseigan Chakra Mode!”

Toneri’s entire body became enveloped in emerald chakra, black orbs floating behind him, his presence overpowering and regal.
