Chapter 111: The Titans in Aerial Confrontation
In the sky, Kinshi Ōtsutsuki, Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki, and Urashiki Ōtsutsuki stepped through a spatial portal, hovering above the earth.
Looking down at the mountains and rivers below, Momoshiki’s face betrayed an excitement he struggled to conceal. With a joyful tone, he said, “Is this Earth?”
A breeze fluttered the white veil draped over his head.
Nearby, Urashiki also scanned the landscape below; the mountains and rivers looked as small as ants.
He tried to find familiar traces, but the passage of time had altered everything.
Suddenly, they noticed several suns hanging overhead.
Momoshiki looked up directly at the suns, astonished. “Usually, life-bearing planets only have one sun. Here, there are at least five. Truly remarkable.”
Five suns stretched across the sky in a straight line, evenly spaced. It was unclear whether there were more on the planet’s far side.
Urashiki was equally surprised; in his memory, Earth had never looked like this. Only two scenarios could have led to such a change.
One, the two individuals who fought his father originally had not died and were responsible for this transformation.
Two, new powerful beings had appeared on Earth and had transformed it.
In either case, Earth harbored formidable figures.
He quietly filed this information away and looked to Momoshiki with a suggestion. “Let’s seek out Kaguya first.”
Momoshiki nodded, unable to hide his excitement, and agreed, “Yes, let’s find Kaguya and reclaim the divine tree’s chakra.”
Then he looked at Urashiki and continued, “Don’t worry, I’ll share some with you.”
With a faint smile, Urashiki replied, “Hmm.”
Who would share with whom was unclear; Momoshiki, full of arrogance, believed that with Kinshi and himself, they would dominate. In truth, this was all part of Urashiki’s scheme.
Earth was unsafe, and Urashiki was using these two as cannon fodder.
At that moment, another spatial portal began to form not far away, drawing the three of them to look.
Momoshiki frowned, puzzled. “More coming here?”
Kinshi stepped forward; as the lowest-ranking member of the trio, he was a subordinate and now positioned himself between Momoshiki and Urashiki, ready to handle whatever might transpire.
Urashiki considered and said, “Perhaps other clan members are coming. They likely came in response to Earth’s summons, so others may come too.”
The portal opened, and six sages emerged, riding a giant toad sage. One held an invisible whip, the other end tethered to a white snake sage and a slug sage, both wearing expressions of fear and frustration. Their entrance was dramatic.
The moment the six sages stepped forth, they saw Kinshi, Momoshiki, and Urashiki and smiled slightly, unsurprised.
But Kinshi and the others were not so composed.
Momoshiki appraised the six sages with a scowl. “I hate these impure bloodlines the most. Kinshi, kill him.”
His tone was casual, indifferent. The Ōtsutsuki clan walked the cosmos with such confidence; few outsiders were worthy of their attention. They called themselves gods.
Kinshi nodded. “Understood!”
He soared forward, adopting the initial stance of a martial art. He wielded a forbidden power capable of shattering the earth and rending all things, specializing in close combat.
The six sages watched Kinshi’s attack calmly. “This isn’t the time to fight yet,” one said.
Though speaking casually, the sage formed a hand seal with his free hand, then made a gesture as if pinching Kinshi’s throat in midair. Kinshi immediately froze, clutching his throat, tongue protruding, as though truly being squeezed.
“Wait a moment. The main player hasn’t arrived yet.”
Momoshiki and Urashiki were shocked by this display—just a pinch in empty space, yet it reached Kinshi’s throat from some distance. What kind of technique was this?
Very strange!
Chakra surged within Momoshiki, ready to intervene personally.
The six sage looked at Momoshiki with a calm voice. “You’re close to death. Your body will be turned into a tool and sunk into the sun’s core.”
Momoshiki’s anger flared, but he held back his attack and instead spoke sharply, “Do you know who you’re speaking to?”
The Ōtsutsuki clan represented the mightiest race among the stars.
The sage did not respond but turned to Urashiki. “You’re also near death. Your body will likewise be made into a tool and sunk into the sun’s core.”
Urashiki instinctively gripped his red fishing rod and retorted, “I see you dying too, lost in the river of time!”
The six sage showed no expression and ignored Urashiki’s words, as if what he said was casual nonsense—believe it or not.
If the sage had countered or said more, Urashiki might have doubted him, but this indifferent demeanor stirred unease in his heart.
Momoshiki, however, did not believe a word and sneered, “You’re arrogant to refuse my question. I’ll tell you—I am pure Ōtsutsuki blood. You carry some Ōtsutsuki blood, so you must understand its power. But I am pure-blooded!”
Pure blood was generally stronger than mixed blood; this was common knowledge.
Still, the six sage ignored Momoshiki and suddenly looked downward with some delight. “The main player has arrived.”
Below, Orochimaru flew up, reaching their height. His long black hair streamed behind him.
Momoshiki cast a disdainful glance at Orochimaru. “Another mortal comes? You all just keep sending yourselves to die.”
Five figures floated in the sky, accompanied by three summoned beasts, each formidable.
Urashiki’s body hair stood on end as he recognized Orochimaru. Orochimaru was one of the two opponents who had perished alongside his father—yet he was truly alive!
He trembled, blood boiling with the desire for revenge.
Orochimaru ignored Momoshiki and Urashiki, looking at the giant toad sage who served as his mount, then at the bound white snake and slug sages. The three avoided his gaze shyly.
Finally, Orochimaru looked at the six sage and smiled. “I heard you prophesying their deaths just now. Can you also predict my death?”
The six sage shook his head, stroking a goatee. Kinshi immediately gasped for air, nearly choked to death. After stroking his beard, the six sage smiled and said, “You will not die. You will pilot Earth, flatten the Ōtsutsuki clan, and unify the universe.”
Orochimaru chuckled, intrigued. “Then can you predict your own death in the next moment?”
The six sage laughed heartily. “I will not die either. I will watch you unify the universe.”
Orochimaru’s smile gradually faded, and he fell silent, unsettled by the six sage. The aura emanating from the sage was something Orochimaru had never deeply explored—the realm of the soul.
At that moment, Madara Uchiha also flew up to join them.
