6 Warriors
After the family dinner, Master Li, who had been busy all day, finally returned home. Not daring to slack off, she immediately took out her little book to review. Effortlessly securing first place in her grade at school was merely a facade.
She was a girl with a childlike face but a wolf’s heart—seemingly naive, but deeply invested in her academic results. She guarded her position day and night, scheming endlessly against every male academic rival nearby.
She absolutely would not allow any boy to outperform her!
Li Shuangjie’s study sessions were nothing short of relentless, hanging herself by the beam and stabbing her thigh as metaphors for her dedication.
When the house cat entered the room and jumped onto the desk, Li Shuangjie scolded, “The harem must not meddle in politics!”
The cat slunk out shamefacedly.
Li Xi entered the room and asked if she wanted fruit.
Li Shuangjie waved him off, “The imperial kitchen must not meddle in politics!”
Li Xi carried the fruit tray out.
Her father came in, urging her to rest early.
Li Shuangjie rebuked, “No meddling from the little man!”
The timid little man left quietly.
In truth, Li Shuangjie did not enjoy studying—who in their right mind would? She longed to wake up and play every day, then sleep when tired. But she was, after all, a grown woman, born to trample over the boys in academics. Every point she earned through burning the midnight oil was to bolster her confidence when slapping men in the face. Nobody studies for pure love; many study fueled by hatred.
Li Shuangjie still remembered a math problem in elementary school she failed to solve, after which her male teacher mocked her, saying girls were simply no match for boys in science. At that time, she had not yet evolved into a warrior of pure hatred but was unwilling to swallow her pride.
She slammed the table and angrily said, “Then let’s see who comes out on top. If I get first place in math on this monthly exam, what will you do?”
The teacher was stunned and sneered, “What use is one first place? Only those who take first place every time are truly capable.”
“That’s a self-referential trap!” Li Shuangjie retorted.
A classmate asked, “Self-referential pie? Is it edible?”
Li Shuangjie looked at Song Encheng, who had asked, and felt a deep despair. She had originally planned to pursue sports, heavily influenced by Li Xi, but now hesitated. The constant talk of pies from her childhood friend made her realize—sports couldn’t save the Chinese people.
She would abandon sports for science!
From then on, she consistently took first place, from elementary through high school, impressing her male teachers. Every year on Teacher’s Day, she returned to visit that teacher in elementary school without fail, rain or shine. Standing at the podium, she spoke passionately: “It’s all thanks to my teacher! If he hadn’t been so sexist, always saying women can’t succeed in science, would I have achieved what I have today?”
The male teacher’s face would visibly darken.
Yet, he still forced a smile and agreed.
After the speech, he would hurriedly pull Li Shuangjie into the hallway, almost begging on his knees: “Miss, I was wrong back then. Please be magnanimous and don’t hold it against me! If you keep this up, my reputation in school will be ruined!”
Li Shuangjie narrowed her eyes: “Do you repent?”
The teacher bowed: “I do, I do.”
“Good.” She tested his obedience. “Now, go back to class and say ten times loudly enough for everyone to hear: ‘Women are best suited for science.’”
He complied and asked if that was sufficient.
Li Shuangjie smiled darkly, leaned close, and whispered harshly, “I’ll be back next year.”
Just as Li Shuangjie studied because of hatred, if it weren’t for that damned male teacher, she wouldn’t have mastered science so well. In fact, much of her life was driven by hate, like going to school. The weekend passed, and a new Monday arrived.
Li Shuangjie did not want to go to school.
She lingered in bed.
Her father gently urged, “You’ll be late for morning assembly.”
Li Shuangjie replied, “I’m not going. I lost something.”
“What did you lose?” her father asked. “Your homework? Don’t worry, I’ll explain to the teacher.”
“No.” she said, “My tutorial.”
“What tutorial?” her father was confused.
“The tutorial on how to make the school collapse right where it stands.”
“…”
“That’s enough!” Li Xi said.
“Big woman, get up quickly!”
Li Shuangjie shouted, threw off the covers, and got up.
Her father stared in disbelief: “How did you do that?”
Li Xi smiled mysteriously and said, “Little men should mind their own business when it comes to big women.”
The cat also crouched curiously by the door.
Li Xi picked it up: “Little cat, mind your own business too.”
Li Xi drove his daughter to school, passing by Song Encheng’s house and picking him up. The two sat in the back, scrolling through the campus forum. Usually, nine out of ten posts were about Li Shuangjie—she had insulted someone again, slapped someone again. But today was different.
“Hey, what’s this about?”
Song Encheng pointed to a hot post.
[Exposing: Female Class Clown in Our Class Seduces My Boyfriend]
Li Shuangjie: “Which class is so unlucky?”
“The original poster says... it’s Class 21, Grade 11.”
“Class 21? Sounds familiar.”
She realized: “Isn’t that our class?!”
It was a home invasion! Li Shuangjie shouted to get out of the car. “Hurry, get out! Too late!” She jumped out before the car stopped, with Song Encheng chasing after her. Fortunately, as an athlete, it was effortless, and he quickly briefed her.
“In short, your classmate—let’s call her the original owner—has been dating a guy from Class 2 for over half a year. Last night, they found out that the female class clown and the boyfriend were secretly together. Once caught, the boyfriend abruptly broke up with the original owner and even changed his profile picture to match the class clown’s!”
“Then why is the original owner exposing the class clown?” Li Shuangjie was puzzled. “What about the cheating boyfriend? Has he vanished? Isn’t this his fault for being unfaithful?”
Song Encheng glanced at his phone, his face suddenly changing. “Bad news! Someone says the two girls have started fighting!”
Li Shuangjie stopped. “...I see it.”
Two girls and a boy were tugging and pulling at the classroom door.
“Go tie up Zhang Guodong and make him come late.”
“Got it!” Song Encheng asked, “And you?”
Li Shuangjie silently rolled up her sleeves.
She quietly approached the scene.
Original owner: “Today, I will expose your dirty deeds to everyone! I want the whole school to see how disgusting you two are as a couple! Especially you, the homewrecker! You seem fine in class, but behind my back, you’re always seducing men!”
Class clown: “Seduce? That’s hilarious. Don’t you know it takes two to tango? If he wasn’t already tired of you, would he be chatting with me in the middle of the night? Want to see our chat logs? See what he says about you?”
Boyfriend: “You guys... stop fighting...”
Original owner: “Even if he chats with you, can’t you just ignore him? You know he has a girlfriend but still talk to him, pretending to be understanding? You think I don’t know what you want? You just enjoy feeling superior by using other people’s boyfriends!”
Class clown: “I’m just being friendly; why should I feel guilty? We’re just good buddies, playing games and chatting. According to you, anyone with a partner shouldn’t talk to the opposite sex! He always says you’re competitive and controlling. Seeing it now, it’s true that hearing isn’t as good as seeing!”
Boyfriend: “Please, stop fighting...”
The original owner and the class clown finally noticed him simultaneously.
They asked in unison, “Who are you on?”
The boy hesitated.
Original owner: “If you pick her, you’re finished!”
Class clown: “What? May the best win!”
“What do you mean?” the original owner trembled with anger. “You think you’re better than me? You think you’re so pretty? All you ever do is fuss over your lousy Korean bangs every day!”
She grabbed the carefully styled bangs of the other girl. The class clown retaliated by scratching her arm with sharp nails. The ex and current girlfriend immediately tangled.
What should have been a passionate, fiery female duel was met by the crowd with an overwhelmingly grim and deadly atmosphere, as if standing in the throne room of the King of Hell.
Someone shouted, “Li Shuangjie is here!”
Everyone immediately scattered like frightened birds.
That name alone commanded respect and avoidance.
Yet some dared to defy fate.
Li Shuangjie rarely hit girls.
But not never.
At that moment, she pulled the two apart.
“Alright,” she said to the original owner.
A sharp slap.
“Men are just men. One has two balls; they’re not some rare treasure. If he runs off with someone else, so be it! Your boyfriend is ugly and reckless, a bad apple driving out the good in the market!”
Then she turned to the class clown.
Two slaps.
The sound echoed like a judge’s gavel.
“There are so many decent men in school, yet you’ve slept around and picked a scoundrel! Shameful, utterly shameful! Who knows how many others he’s secretly been with? Aren’t you afraid of disease? Men like him wouldn’t even find wives in our village!”
Li Shuangjie lamented to the crowd:
“Heartbreaking! Truly heart-wrenching!”
“When women are wronged, why don’t we help each other? Why do women blame women? No matter what mistakes women make, the problem lies with the men! If this man weren’t promiscuous, would women be fighting over him? You’ve been deceived by this ugly vixen and forgotten my teachings!”
She solemnly raised her hand to her forehead: “I reiterate: proletarian women of the nation, unite!”
The surrounding girls echoed: “Unite!”
Xia Ya whispered, “Unite with Shuangjie.”
“That’s enough!” Seeing the two girls regain their composure, Li Shuangjie stopped wasting words.
She pulled them together. “Let’s hug it out. Consider this settled. Sisters and wives, no need to fuss!”
The original owner bowed her head: “Sorry, I was impulsive. Actually, I think your bangs are pretty... I’ve always wanted to ask which salon you go to.”
The class clown also apologized sincerely: “I was wrong too. I never meant to date him, just playing around. He doesn’t deserve such a good girl like you.”
“...Wait!” Both suddenly realized.
Pointing at the ex-boyfriend, “Why didn’t you slap him?”
Finally, Li Shuangjie smiled faintly with satisfaction. She always encouraged the awakening of female consciousness and now had to set an example. Slowly, she rolled up her sleeves to her elbows.
Normally, Li Shuangjie wouldn’t do this.
This meant she was going to get serious.
She strode toward the two-timing scoundrel:
“You... will receive the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms!!”
Before she finished, the slap came first. Being struck by Li Shuangjie stunned him; her imposing aura made him want to kneel. Only when the pain hit did he realize he had to run—and bumped right into Zheng Lanyu entering the classroom.
Zheng Lanyu stepped aside in surprise, just in time to hear Li Shuangjie shouting angrily:
“Hold him down! What are you hiding from?”
Zheng Lanyu said apologetically, “Sorry, I didn’t know...”
“Useless!” Li Shuangjie kicked him. “Are American soldiers really this incompetent?!”
She wasted no time, chasing after the boy with slaps flying, determined to humble him. Li Shuangjie indeed had the skill to slap the unfaithful scoundrel from one end of the corridor to the other, muttering, “I want to see you men dare to hide again!”
At the other end was Class 2. The boy, seeing his class as a safe haven, ducked under another male student’s crotch.
Li Shuangjie laughed bitterly: “You think hiding in your own class will stop me from finding you?”
She lifted her foot, about to enter, but was stopped.
Who was so ungrateful? She looked at the newcomer.
Jet-black hair, fair face, cold and calm willow-leaf eyes. Even when blocking her, he was hard to dislike.
Li Shuangjie was no lenient ruler when it came to handsome boys, but she knew Pei Chuyuan—the student council president, an excellent student, well-liked, and never a troublemaker. He should be a good person.
She had no intention of roughing up a gentle scholar.
“Move aside,” she said. “Let me through.”
Pei Chuyuan shook his head, offering a charming smile: “Class is about to start. Better not. If the teacher or principal comes, it’ll be awkward...”
Li Shuangjie cut him off impatiently:
“Enough nonsense. Will you let me in or not?”
Pei Chuyuan’s breath quickened.
He whispered hoarsely: “...No.”
“...You’re asking for death!” Li Shuangjie raised her hand.
A flush appeared in Pei Chuyuan’s soft eyes.
Slap him.
Slap him quickly.
Yet, the slap he dreamed of never landed on his face, though he had provoked her. He thought he was being unreasonable, but from Li Shuangjie’s or others’ perspective, what he said made sense, and as student council president, he was supposed to maintain order.
But once Li Shuangjie raised her hand, she never put it down lightly.
She hesitated.
Finally, a crisp sound rang out.
The belated Zheng Lanyu covered his face.
“...Me again?”
He asked plaintively.
“Enough talk! When I slap you, you’d better thank me!”
“...Okay.” Zheng Lanyu obediently complied.
“Thank you.”
After thanking her, Zheng Lanyu still felt gloomy:
Why did his deskmate always slap him?
Pei Chuyuan silently mourned.
Everyone in this school could be slapped by Li Shuangjie—boys, girls, teachers, classmates. Why was he the only one she refused to slap? Why wouldn’t Li Shuangjie hit him?
